Here I am highlighting the newest beauty accessory for folks of my age - the barrette. My tresses have recently been bothering my eyeballs and so Mom has, very considerately, found a way to pin them back. Surprisingly, two people have asked Mom in the past two days how her 'little feller got the sore on his head'. People just don't recognize beauty (or barrettes) anymore.
